Our beloved brother, William M. “Bill” Roach, age 82 of West Carrollton, left this earth on Thursday, May 30, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on December 30, 1941, in Dayton, Ohio, the son of the late William & Geneva (Schmidt) Roach.

Mr. Roach honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietman War. He attended St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister Judy Vinson, and by a nephew Daniel Hughes.

He is survived by his two loving sisters Carol Hawker & Nancy Shepard , his brother-in-law Gerald Hawker, his nephews and nieces Ronald Kronenberger (Randy), Richard (Tina) Kronenberger, Roger Kronenberger, Robert Kronenberger, Michelle Kronenberger, Melinda (Brett) Heizer, Marie (John) Fox, Terry Kronenberger, Gerald Hawker, Christine Hawker (Deborah), Lisa (Steve) Hogenkamp, and George Hughes, as well as numerous great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces and nephews and many friends.

“Lord, Bill is gone now from this earthly dwelling, and has left behind those who mourn his absence. Grant that we may hold his memory dear, never bitter for what we have lost nor in regret for the past, but always in hope of the eternal Kingdom where you will bring us together again.”

A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 21, 2024, at the St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 830 Bowen St., Dayton, OH 45410 with Father Len Wenke, Celebrant. A Christian Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Dayton with Military Honors conducted by the Combined Honor Guard. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. (1 hour prior to Mass) on Friday at the church.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton in memory of Mr. William M. “Bill” Roach.
