William B. “Bill” Pyle, age 76 of Dayton, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at Kettering Health Network – Miamisburg, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on November 16, 1946, in Logan, Ohio, the son of the late Wilford & Margaret “Peggy” (Klinebriel) Pyle.
Mr. Pyle honorably served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He was a retired Printer for Dayton Press and ColorPac with a combined 34 years of service. He was a member of Miami Valley Church, and loved spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren and especially his great granddaughters.
Preceded in death by his daughter Tara Alison (Pyle) Humphrey in 2014, and by his sister Sheryl Pyle.
He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Beverly A. (Taylor) Pyle, his daughter Tiffany Chorazewitz and husband Thomas, his son Brent Pyle and wife Candace, his sister Beverly A. Glenn, “They are the Gold in Our Golden Years” 8 grandchildren Logan Ridgeway and partner Will Donovan, Justin Chorazewitz and wife Brooke, Cameryn Chorazewitz and fiancé Nick Hedrick, Morgan Hayslett and husband Tristen, Liam Pyle, Jarred Chorazewitz, Austin Pyle, and Cadyn Chorazewitz, the apples of his eye, 6 great granddaughters, Hadley, Raegan, Ellie, Emersyn, Harper and Murphy, as well as numerous other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton with Pastor Tim Cox officiating. Burial will follow at Hillgrove Cemetery in Miamisburg with Military Honors conducted by the Combined Honor Guard. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 10, 2023, at the Swart Funeral Home.
