Virgel R. “Ray” Pearson age 67 of Moraine, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 21, 2025, at the Oaks of West Kettering. He was born on January 19, 1958, in Sand Gap, KY, the son of the late Boyd & Cathryn (Lainhart) Pearson.

Ray was a Carpenter, and a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters in Dayton, Ohio.

Preceded in death by his brothers Jim Pearson, Joe Pearson and Earl Pearson, and his sister Jerri Richey. He is survived by his brother Boyd D. Pearson and wife Janette, his son Jeff Collins and wife Amanda, 3 grandchildren, as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Graveside Services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at the Evergreen Cemetery, 401 N. Miami Ave., West Carrollton, Ohio.
