Steven “Steve” Williams, age 81 of Farmersville, entered into the Arms of Jesus, on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at the Kettering Health Network – Main Campus, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on October 23, 1941, in Perry County, Kentucky, the son of the late Hiram & Mary (Ritchie) Williams.
Steve was a former employee of the City of Middletown Water & Waste Division with 26 years of service. He was a retired Purified Water & Waste Operator for Fernald in Ross, OH with 15 years of service, and was currently a driver for the Central Connection for Seniors in Middletown with 18 years of service. Steve had a strong faith in family, he was Southern Baptist, his passion was horses and horse racing. Steven was an avid outdoorsman – his love of spending time with his family and friends while camping, fishing, boating, and car shows, and he was an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes & NASCAR.
Preceded in death by his 3 infant sisters and 3 brothers Chet, Lawrence & Johnny Williams.
He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years Verna (Frye) Williams, his 2 sons Stevie Williams and wife Jean, Scott Williams and wife Heather, his daughter Kayla Lemons and husband Brandon, his brother Clyde Williams and wife Jenny, 10 grandchildren Brandon, Bryon, Julia, Tommy, Daniel, Preston, Taryn, Syruss, Paisley and Ellie, 17 great grandchildren, as well as numerous other relatives and many friends.
At Steven’s request there will be no services. Arrangements entrusted to the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton.
