Steven Dennis Burton

Steven Dennis Burton, age 49 of Moraine, passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2020. He was born on December 31, 1970 in Dayton, Ohio. Steven worked for AAMCO Transmissions for over 20 years as a Transmission Specialist, and he was a member of the HH4L. He attended Huber Heights and Kettering City Schools.

Preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Thomas Ramey, and 2 paternal grandfathers John H. Burton and George House, paternal grandmother Eliza Burton.

He is survived by his lifelong companion of 30 years Pamela Thompson, 3 sons Randy Baldauf (Kat Smiley), Dylan Thompson (Jackie Jones), and Cody Burton, 2 daughters Alexis Messer & Asia Brooks and husband Wesley, his mother Carol Ann Mills and husband Christopher, his father Dennis Floyd Burton and wife Cheryl, maternal grandmother Sherra Ramey, paternal grandmother Dorothy House, 9 grandchildren Matthew Thompson, Adalynn Jewell, Addisyn Potts, Adam Potts, Jr., Peyton Thompson, Rylan Matthew, Coen Brentlinger, Carson Burton and Kellee Baldauf, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends.  

Steven had a good heart and many friends who shared his interests in restoring cars, riding motorcycles, poker runs.  He enjoyed cookouts and gatherings, his pet, Diesel, and spending time with family, especially with his close cousins Lee Sage, Tom Ramey, Jr., Doug Stacey, Jason Ramey, Mike Ramey & Freddy Burton.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 25, 2020 at the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton with Pastor Wayne Woody officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. (2 hours prior to service) at the funeral home on Thursday.
