Shane Ellis McCann-Whisman

Shane Ellis McCann-Whisman, age 50 of Franklin, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, August 12, 2022, as a result of an automobile accident.

He was born on February 2, 1972, in Dayton, Ohio. Preceded in death by his father Britt Whisman.

Shane is survived by his loving family; his wife Sherry Greene-Whisman, his daughter Shana Whisman (Jesse Edwards), his mother Deborah Weidle, 9 siblings Camela R. McCann, Chad D. McCann, Kristi Smith and husband Derek, Tisha Whisman, Jason Whisman, Dax Whisman , Britt Whisman, Chris Whisman and Tia Williams, his uncle Charles Weidle, his aunt Jean Ann Weidle, 2 nieces Summer Smith & Skye Smith, his mother-in-law Joy Collier, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Private Services will be held. Burial Highland Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton.
