Sandra "Sandy" Henson

Sandra “Sandy” Henson, age 66 of Fairborn, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 10, 2022, at her home. She was born on July 31, 1956, in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of the late Ona Rea (Tipton) Ritchie & Arthur Henson.

Preceded in death by her sister Brenda Burgess, her brother-in-law Walter Burgess, II, niece Tammy Burgess, a nephew Walter Burgess, III, and by her mother-in-law Georgia “Granny” Fultz.

She is survived by her loving children Martha Smith and husband Darion & Michael Henson, her brother Mark Henson and wife Sheila, 4 grandchildren Alyssa Schulte-Smith and husband Anthony, Brittany Elasass and husband Dustin, Neveah Henson and Michael Henson-Smith, 3 great grandchildren Isaac James Smith, Ethan Elasass and Ella Elasass, special cousin Jeff Henson, her former husband Phillip Fultz, 2 nieces Sherry Taulbee & Tammy Collins and husband Justin, 4 nephews Bobby Burgess and wife Dottie, Dustin Bowens, Anthony Gilbert, and Christopher Gilbert and wife Christina, Martha’s mother-in-law Belinda Hill, as well as numerous other family members and many friends.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 13, 2022, at the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton. If so, desired memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association in Sandra’s memory.
