Hoffman, Robert E. “Bob”, age 91 of West Carrollton, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 15, 2021 at Walnut Creek Nursing Center. He was born on November 1, 1929 in Dayton, OH, the son of the late Robert H. & Lillian Marie (Beckett) Hoffman.

Bob was a 1949 graduate of the West Carrollton High School; he was actively involved in both the W.C. Alumni Association and the W.C. Alumni Band. He was a season ticket holder and very proud supporter of the U.D. Flyers.  Mr. Hoffman was a retired employee of Miami Industrial Truck; he also had been employed by Sunshine Biscuit and Sterling Rubber;  he was a member of Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church, and had been attending St. Henry Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years Betty A. (Brasier) Hoffman, his son Jeffery Hoffman, siblings Gary Hoffman, Alice Thompson & Sandy Tackett, as well as numerous other relatives and many friends.

A Graveside service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at Davids Cemetery, 4600 Mad River Rd., Kettering, OH 45429 with Father Jim Romanello officiating. Arrangements entrusted to the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton.
