Raymond Clay Carmichael

Raymond Clay Carmichael, age 93 of Centerville, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at Miami Valley Hospital South. He was born on July 7, 1928 in Chavies, Kentucky, the son of the late Sherman & Eliza (Begley) Carmichael.

Mr. Carmichael was the Vice President of John A. Becker Company with 30 years of service, and a former Sales Manager of Pioneer. He was a member of St. Charles of Borromeo and attended Incarnation Catholic Church.

Preceded in death by his brother John Tucker Carmichael, and by his 2 sisters-in-law Rosemarie Carmichael and Sandra Hope Carmichael.  

He is survived by his loving wife of 73 years Darlene (Rauscher) Carmichael, 2 sons Stephen Carmichael & Ronald Carmichael and wife Deborah, 2 daughters Judith Mack & Robin Miller and husband Alan Cox, his brother Glenn Carmichael, 10 grandchildren Steve Carmichael, Eric Ryberg, Jamie Mack, Jennifer Carmichael-Roberts, Matthew Carmichael, Andrew Carmichael, Rhiannon Carmichael, Zachary Carmichael, Derek Miller, and Daulton Miller, 9 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

Private services will be held at the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton with Father Pat Sloneker. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later time.
