Ralph Junior Price, age 91 of Miamisburg, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 18, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on March 6, 1929 in North Platte, Nebraska, the son of the late Ralph Eugene & Mary Josephine (Dilka) Price.
Mr. Price honorably served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War and was awarded a Purple Heart for his service. Ralph was an Industrial Arts & Photography Teacher for the Kettering Fairmont West High School; and was a member of Alpha Lodge #729 F & A.M., Kettering.
Preceded in death by his wife Fern (Emrick) Price, 2 brothers Eugene & Donald Price, 2 half-brothers Raymond & Ray Gress, his sister Josephine Price, and half-sister Harriett Gress.
He is survived by his loving daughters Lee Ann Price-Fortino and husband Michael Fortino, Debra Price and husband Paul Kitchen, Cherrie Martin and husband Dr. John Martin, sister Maxine Price, 2 grandchildren Gina Lindsey Fortino & Michael Lee Fortino and wife Danielle, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Private Graveside Services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at the Fairmound Cemetery in West Elkton, OH, with Full Military Honors conducted by the Preble County Honor Guard. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Gentle Giant Draft Horse Rescue, 17250 Old Frederick Rd., Mount Airy, MD 21771. Arrangements entrusted to the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton.
