Phyllis M. Brady

Phyllis M. Brady, age 84 of Dayton, formerly of West Carrollton, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 10, 2023, at Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton. She was born on September 4, 1939, in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of the late William and Ester (Bailey) Wagner.

Phyllis attended the Methodist Church; she enjoyed planting flowers and tending to her flower beds, dancing, and spending time with family and friends. Phyllis also cared for her 2 younger grandchildren Brad & Zach when they were little while Marlene was working during the day.

Preceded in death by her husband Joseph Gary “Joe” Brady in 1992, her brother Bob Wagner, her sister Janet Cox, and by her brother-in-law Dale Smart.

She is survived by her loving family; daughter Marlene Bristow and husband Jeff, her son Steven Brady, her sister Jackie Smart, 3 grandchildren Stevie Brady, Bradley Pullen, and Zach Pullen, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, September 15, 2023, at the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton with Rev. Dr. Joel Getts officiating. Burial will follow at Miami Valley Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (2 hours prior to service) on Friday at the funeral home. If so desired memorial contributions may be made to Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton in memory of Mrs. Phyllis Brady.
