Paul D. “Pig” Pennington, age 69 of Dayton, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at Miami Valley Hospital – Dayton, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on July 4, 1954, in Dayton, Ohio.

Pig was a former Foreman of Click Brothers Roofing, and former employee of Pennington Tree Service. He was Pentecostal Faith, and he enjoyed working on his race car, fishing and hunting, and he especially loved spending time with his family, grandbabies and friends.

Preceded in death by his father Ralliegh Pennington, his brother Larry Pennington, and by his brother-in-law William “Murphy” Petrey.

He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Angela “Angie” Pennington, his 3 daughters Amanda Pennington,  Sierra Pennington and husband Grant George, Billi Gibson and by his son Harley Pennington, his mother Allene (Ballinger) Pennington, 2 brothers Elbert Pennington and Roddy Pennington and wife Rhonda, 3 sisters Sharon Kruso, Gail Petrey, Susie Leet and husband Tim, 6 grandchildren who he loved dearly, Morgan Pennington, Remington George, Liam Pennington, Levi Pennington, Cali Pennington, and AJ Gibson, his 3 bonus grandchildren Lucas Sheppard, Avery Lewis and Kenny Bailey, his best friend Tony Long, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton, with Rev. Dr. Joel Getts officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. (2 hours prior to service) on Thursday at the funeral home.
