Mitchell “Mitch” Long, age 36 of Miamisburg, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at Kettering Health Network – Miamisburg, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on June 13, 1989, in Middletown, Ohio.

Mitch was a current employee at Rooster’s in Miamisburg. He was an avid Michigan Wolverines Fan, he loved to read, U.S. History, Star Wars and Lord of the Rings, and he especially loved spending time with family and friends.

Preceded in death by his uncle Steven Bailey.

He is survived by his 3 daughters Gracelyn Fortner, Charlie Long, and Elisabeth Long, his fiancée Dakota L. Raynor, his mother Michele Boyd and husband Jim, his father Mitchell Bailey and wife Heather, his sister Kayla Bailey, his maternal grandmother Sally Baylor, his paternal grandparents Mitchell Bailey, Sr., and Mary Sue McGee, his step-sister Paige Mullins and step-brother Hunter Mullins,  his 3 nieces Alissa, Kennedy, Kaylayla and Kamden, and 2 nephews Jordan and Jace, as well as numerous other relatives and many friends.

At Mitch’s request there will be no services. Arrangements entrusted to the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton. If desired memorial contributions may be made to Swart Funeral Home to assist with family with expenses.
