Michael “Mike” Lee Wiley, age 66 of Dayton, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 12, 2023, at Kettering Health Network – Main Campus, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on January 14, 1957, in Dayton, Ohio, the son of the late Thelma Darlene (Everetts) Wiley and Everett Wiley.

Michael was a self-employed painter for many years, and a member of the New Hope Church in Dayton. He was also an avid fisherman and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Preceded in death by his granddaughter Reagan Wiley, and by a brother Kent Wiley.

He is survived by his 2 daughters Erin Wiley (Kevin Engelman) and Amy Wiley, his son Timothy Wiley (Amanda Willman), 2 brothers Dennis Wiley and Scott Wiley, 8 grandchildren Jacob Burton, Abby Wiley, Kaden Wiley, Brooklynn Willman, Madelyn Wiley, Payton Wiley, Kameron Engelman and Jackson Engelman, his fur baby “Maggie”, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 21, 2023, at the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton with Mr.  Doug Gibson officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. (2 hours prior to service) on Sunday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to New Hope Church, 536 Xenia Ave., Dayton, Ohio 45410 in Michael’s memory.
