Michael J. Bumbalough, age 70 of Dayton, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 25, 2022 at the Riverside Healthcare Center surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on June 29, 1951 in Richmond, Indiana, the son of the late Willie Herbert & Lela Mae (Demps) Bumbalough.
Mr. Bumbalough honorably served his country in the U.S. Air Force during Vietnam in the Military Police Division. He was an artist and very skilled with his hands.
Preceded in death by his 3 sisters Nelda Kloentus, Wilma Jean Dingle & Brenda G. Rogers, and by his brother-in-law Roger Anderson.
He is survived by his children Michael Brian Bumbalough and wife Charlis, Brandi Leah Kovach and husband Jason, Britni Kaye Bumbalough and fiancé Tyrone, John Cody Bumbalough and wife Kimberly, his brother Jim Bumbalough and wife Lynn, sister Joyce Anderson, 3 grandchildren Dalton, Bumbalough, Dustin Bumbalough and Lela Bumbalough, the mother of his 3 children Pamela Kaye Focht, special niece Tina Hampton and husband Franklin, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton.
Inurnment services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, September 11, 2023, at the Dayton National Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
