Mary Ruby Jewel Kohler, age 95 of Terre Haute, Indiana, formerly of Dayton, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at Westminster Village Terre Haute, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 17, 1929, in Thorn Hill, TN, the daughter of the late Amanda (Brooks) and James V. “Val” Greene.

She was a former Seafood Salesperson for the Arcade in Dayton, and she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Preceded in death by her husband David Kohler on August 16, 2013.

She is survived by her daughter Susan Eiler, her granddaughter Brenda Norton, her great grandson Jerry Cheesman, and by 2 great great grandsons David Cheesman and Josiah Cheesman.

A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, September 9, 2024, at the Highland Memorial Cemetery, 723 Upper Miamisburg Rd., Miamisburg, Ohio with Rev. JD Brumbaugh officiating. Arrangements entrusted to the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton.
