Mary Alice Poston, age 77 of West Carrollton, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 10, 2025, at Kettering Health Network – Main Campus, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 23, 1948, in Pennington Gap, VA, the daughter of the late George & Millie (Newman) Napier.

Mrs. Poston was a retired employee of Dayton Progress. She attended Moraine Heights Baptist Church and Grace Baptist Church. She loved horses, westerns, and going out to dinner with family and friends.

Preceded in death by her brother Jimmy Napier, and by her former husband Roger Poston.

She is survived by her loving children; daughter Michelle Borradaile and husband Darlton, her son Mark Poston (Becky Friend), her brother William “Bill” Napier, her 2 sisters Cretia Ann Combs and Marie Middleton and husband Glen, her sister-in-law Bonnie Napier, 4 grandchildren Christopher, Ashley, Aiden, Chelsey, her fur baby "Buddy", as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton with Pastor Doug Criswell officiating. Burial will follow at the Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. (1 hour prior to service) on Saturday at the funeral home.
