Willoughby-Grube, Lukas David, age 18 of Dayton, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at Soin Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was born on August 26, 2001 in Kettering, Ohio.
Lukas was a member of the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, and was a student at Wright State University majoring in Engineering. He was also employed for the Dakota Watch Co., as a Repairman and Salesman.
Preceded in death by his grandparents Rosie Percifull, John Percifull, Marilyn Grube & David Grube.
He is survived by his parents Cherie Nicole & Todd Grube, his sister Taylor Foster and husband Alex, grandparents Linda & Gary Thacker, uncle Gary Thacker and wife Sharene, aunt Melinda Wynia and husband Al, cousins Autumn Thacker, Alexandria Thacker, and Tyler Wynia, best friends Hunter Bachman, Alex Beckett and Noah Weber, as well as numerous other family members and many friends.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 5550 Munger Road, Dayton, Ohio 45459 with Rev. John Mittermaier officiating. Burial will follow at the Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday at the church.
Lukas was an organ donor and saved numerous lives with his donation. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Life Connection as well as the Kettering Health Network for the care of Lukas.
