Loran Edward Delph, age 79 of West Carrollton, went home to his Lord and Savior peacefully on Sunday, October 29, 2023, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on October 4, 1944, in St. Charles, VA, the son of the late Earl & Gertrude (Surber) Delph.
Mr. Delph was a retired Paper Cutter & Manager for the West Carrollton Parchment Co. with 30 years of service. He volunteered and served as the Lieutenant & Captain on the West Carrollton Fire Dept. for 20 years. Loran was also a faithful member of the First Freedom Independent Church in Moraine.
Preceded in death by his brother Ronnie Delph.
He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years Georgiana (Perdue) Delph, his 2 sons Philip Delph and wife Gina, and Keith Delph, his sister Sue Fleenor, 3 brothers Larry Delph (Sharron Motasky), Gary Delph and wife Jeannie, and Donnie Delph and wife Barbara, 3 grandchildren Tiffany Jackson, Joshua Delph and wife Brittany, Branden Delph and wife Amber, 6 great grandchildren Kenten Delph, Kaisen Delph, Eli Delph, Roman Jackson, Ivyann Elizabeth Delph, and Chloe Nicole Delph, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 2, 2023, at the First Freedom Independent Church, 3315 Main Street, Moraine, Ohio with Rev. Henry Watts, Jr. and Rev. Dr. Rick Fleenor officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (2 hours prior to service) on Thursday at the church.
