Karl Anthony “Tony” Scott, age 79 of Franklin, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 16, 2026, at his home. He was born on August 17, 1946, in Dayton, Ohio, the son of the late Karl Anthony Schaffenrath and Maude Leo Scott.
Mr. Scott was a Brick Mason for Local #22 with 35 years of service. He enjoyed traveling to Gatlinburg, watching Gunsmoke, Mountain Men, and Andy Griffith. Tony never passed up a sweet treat, and loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his first wife Linda C. (Denney) Scott on June 19, 1999.
He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years Wanda (Davis) Scott, his children Aaron Scott and wife Natasha, Teri Scott, Toni Stoltz and husband Jeff, his step daughter Amber Schaeff and husband Nick, 12 grandchildren Tyler Herron, Chris Herron, Jacob Stastny, Hailey McNary and husband Dylan, Erin Prunier and husband Brendan, Paige Scott, Olivia Goodwin and husband Chance, Adriana Oliver, Peyton Drury, Micah Schaeff, Jess Stoltz, Jordan Hester and husband Jesse, 6 great grandchildren Hayden Herron, Graysen Herron, Haiven McNary, Dalton McNary, Paisley Hester and Mason Hester, as well as other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (2 hours prior to service) on Tuesday at the funeral home.
