JoAnn Caupp, age 81 of Miamisburg, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 2, 2024, at Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 20, 1943, Monterey, TN, the daughter of the late Joe G. & Deane (Randolph) Thompson.

Preceded in death by her husband Eugene Caupp, her son Tony Corson, her brother Ronnie Thompson, her 2 grandsons Terry Corson and Nicholas Corson, her cousin Kevin Myers, and by her special friend Robert Potts.

She is survived by her sons David Caupp (Mary Vance), Greg Caupp (Tammy Griffith), Rick Corson, her sisters Linda Caupp and husband Merlyn, Patsy Thompson-Horst and husband Pat, 8 grandchildren Mandy Corson, Anthony Corson, Dusty Corson (Ashley), Chris Caupp and wife Angie, Monica Spada and husband Josh, Brandon Caupp (Terri), Gunyr Caupp and Dylan Caupp, 16 great grandchildren, her 2 aunts Liz Chaffin & Molly Myers and husband Dale, cousins Danny Myers and wife Tara & Timmy Myers and wife Becky, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton with Chaplain Tom Myers officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (2 hours prior to service) on Wednesday at the funeral home.
