Jeffrey L. Bowden

Jeffrey L. “Jeff” Bowden, age 66 of Dayton, passed away on Monday June 14, 2021. He was born on May 13, 1955 in Dayton, Ohio, the son of the late Billy R. & Alta (Hubbard) Bowden.

Jeff was an employee of West Carrollton Parchment & Converting with 22 years of service; and was a member of the Fairhaven Church. He was an avid fan of Ohio State, the University of Dayton Basketball team and the Cincinnati Reds.

He is survived by his loving family; sister Linda Ohrt and husband Paul, brother Thomas “Tom” Bowden, 2 nieces Sarah Arthur and husband Dave, Rachel Johnson and husband Adam, nephew Michael Ohrt, great nieces & nephews Bo, Riley, Michael, Annabelle and Trenton, special friend Jenny Miller, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton with Pastor David Ringhiser officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (2 hours prior to service) on Saturday at the funeral home. In honor of Jeff please wear Ohio State, University of Dayton or Cincinnati Reds  gear or red, grey, blue, or white clothing. Arrangements entrusted to the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton. If so desired memorial contributions may be made to the Charity of the Donor’s Choice in Jeff’s memory.
