Harvey W.K. Durham

Harvey W.K. Durham, age 73 of Dayton, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 3, 2021 at Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton surrounded by his family. He was born on August 21, 1948 in Dayton, Ohio the son of the late Hiram & Saraetta Durham.

Harvey was a retiree of General Motors and was fortunate enough to retire in 1996 in Sevierville, TN. He enjoyed bitchin, fishin, and especially spending time with his family!

Preceded in death by his 2 sisters Patricia Smith & Nancy Stump.

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Lotus (Collins) Durham, his 3 sons Jason Durham (Beth), Kevin Durham (Denise), and Jerry Durham (Patty), 8 beautiful grandchildren Todd Sutton, Kayla Durham, Brandon Durham, Kristen Durham, Lucas Durham, Briana Moody, Nathanial Durham, and Avarie Durham, 2 sisters Barbara (Joe) Rotterman & Claretta Slaton, special friend Ron Whitt, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton with Mr. James Swartzel officiating. Burial Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (2 hours prior to service) on Wednesday at the funeral home.

The family would like to especially thank the staff of Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton for their care. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton in Harvey’s memory.
