Harold Tutt, age 73 of Port Saint Lucie, FL, formerly of West Carrollton, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 8, 2022. He was born on February 17, 1949, in Dayton, Ohio, the son of the late Wallace & Betty Louise (Peck) Tutt.
Mr. Tutt graduated from Mt. Orab High School in 1967 and graduated from the Urbana University. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Army. Harold retired after 32 years from Miami Valley RTA. He continued consulting and employment with Broward County, Florida until he retired and moved to Port Saint Lucie, and he was a member of the American Legion.
Preceded in death by his brother Jerry Tutt, and by his sister Francis Beatty.
He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Linda Jean (McKinzie) Tutt, 2 daughters Laura Tutt (Roric Gibbs) & Tricia Tutt (Timothy Elkins), his 2 brothers Jim Tutt and wife Kim & Kenny Tutt and wife Danette, 9 grandchildren Jesse Brooks, Robert Helfinstine, Thomas Keller, Eva Keller (Joseph Perez), Faith Helfinstine, Emma Brooks (William Workman), Tae Brooks, Bradley Mauldin and Leah Mauldin, 6 great grandchildren Camdyn Elkins, Maci Brooks, Peyton Workman, Raelynn Workman, Carson Workman and Mason Workman, 2 sisters-in-law Judy Morano and Barbara Hoernschmeyer (Andy), as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 20, 2022, at the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton with Full Military Honors conducted by the Combined Honor Guard at the funeral home. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. (2 hours prior to service) on Saturday at the funeral home.
