Gregory E. “Greg” Brandenburg, age 61 of Dayton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on March 18, 1964, in Dayton, Ohio, the son of the late George & Cecil (Malone) Brandenburg.

Greg was a member of the Aley United Methodist Church in Beavercreek. He loved to golf, bowl, play softball, travel, and spend time with family and friends. He was also a fan of Ohio State Football, Cincinnati Reds and the Cincinnati Bengals.

Preceded in death by his sister Blanche “Jodi” Marbaugh, and by his brother-in-law John Collins.

He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years Harriette (Collins) Brandenburg, his daughter Ciera Brandenburg, his son Cole Brandenburg and wife Danielle, his brother Glen Brandenburg, his grandson Brooks Brandenburg, his mother-in-law Susan Oberer, 2 sisters-in-law Hilary Perkins and husband Jimmy, and Heather Moyer, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at the Swart Funeral Home, with Rev. Jimmy Perkins officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (2 hours prior to service) at the funeral home.
