Gerald A. "Jerry" Ward

Gerald A. “Jerry” Ward, age 73 of Miamisburg, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 8, 2020 at Kettering Medical Center surrounded by his family. He was born on May 9, 1947 in Dayton, Ohio.

Jerry honorably served his country in the U.S. Army, and was a former Service Manager for Bobcat of Dayton and Kubota.

Preceded in death by his mother Mildred (Achey) Ward, his father Orland E. Ward, brother Gary Lee Ward, son-in-law Michael Lewis, and by his sister-in-law Carroll Ward.

He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Carolyn J. (Fugett) Ward, his fur babies Zoey & Shotzey, his 3 daughters Keri Clark, Jeri “Sissy” Ward (William Lynch), and Robyn Campbell (Johnny Fugett), his son Todd Ward, 2 brothers Terry Ward & Scott Ward and wife Vicki, sister Connie Masten, 9 grandchildren Krista, Kara, Kelsey, Kendra, Shelby, Amber, Mason, Jason “Bubby”, and Tyler, 14 great grandchildren Jase, Madalyn, Carson, Mia, Stella, Kye, Wyatt, Audra, Evelyn,  Emma Dale, Lennox, Greyson & Legend, and Liam, and 1 great granddaughter Riley on the way, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 13, 2020 at the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton with Military Honors at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
