George A. Witt

George Arthur Witt of West Carrollton went home to be with the Lord on February 8, 2022. He was born on March 24, 1959 in Dayton, Ohio.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 27 years, Lucinda Kay; his son Rick (Samantha); step-children Josh (Amy) Vincent, Jason (Michelle) Vincent, Melissa (Todd) Ferguson; grandchildren Taylor Atkinson, Araya Frasier, Sophia Witt, Jacob Vincent, Emma Vincent, Alexander Vincent, Noelle Vincent, Joseph Vincent, Taylor Ferguson; siblings Orville, Marjorie Sue (Wayne) Wallace, Yvonne Sams, Connie Rice, Randy (Connie), Sarah (Jerry) Abner; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Preceded in death by his daughter Cassie Lynn; grandparents; parents Dora Dean (Metcalfe) & William Wallace I; siblings Bill, Rick, Mary & Ronnie.

George cherished his family, a loving father, he treated all his children equally, wanting only for them to be happy. An adoring grandpa he found joy in every moment with his grandchildren.

He enjoyed keeping his hands busy doing puzzles, tinkering on anything, playing with his dogs and was always up for a good story. He never hesitated to help family, friend or a stranger. His love will follow us until we meet again.

A Private Ceremony will be held.

The family requests all cell phones be left in vehicles as photography or videography is prohibited.
