Evadene K. Hignite, age 85 of West Carrollton, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 29, 2024, at Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on December 21, 1939, in Dayton, Ohio the daughter of the late Paul & Catherine (Suttman) Fowler.

Mrs. Hignite was a former employee in the Social Services Office for Kettering Health Network – Main Campus for 20 years. She was a member and attended the Miami Valley Community Church, Memorial United Methodist Church and Trinity Church of Miamisburg.

Preceded in death by her brother Jerry Fowler.

She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years Norman D. Hignite, her 2 daughters Kathleen Sizemore and husband Tim & Amy Weller, her sister Marilyn Marshall, 4 grandchildren Clara Sizemore Yates and husband Matt, Anna Weller, Alex Weller and Samanta Sizemore (Chris Boatright), and by 2 great grandchildren Rory Boatright and Jasper Boatright, as well as numerous other relatives and many friends.

At Mrs. Evadene Hignite’s request there will be no services.  Arrangements entrusted to the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton.
