Edna Vaughn, age 95 of Miamisburg, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 2, 2023, at the Woodglen Alzheimer’s Community. She was born on February 3, 1928, in Jackson, Kentucky, the daughter of the late John & Lula (Johnson) Robinson.

Mrs. Vaughn was a Bus Driver for Jefferson Twp. Schools, and a Healthcare Aide for 20 years.

Preceded in death by her husband James L. Vaughn, her son John Stanley Hobbs, Sr., her siblings Tony, J.S., Elroy, and Glenn Robinson, Marie McGeorge, Lorene McQueen and Leona “Polly” Clark.

She is survived by her daughter Lois A. Jones and husband Johnny, her son Jessie D. “J.D.” Hobbs, Jr. (Nancy), 2 brothers Ray Robinson and wife Beulah, Lonnie Robinson and wife Virginia, her sister Catherine Sherrick, 6 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, April 10, 2023 at the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton with Pastor Jim Shihady officiating. Burial will follow at the Highland Memorial Cemetery in Miamisburg. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. (1 hour prior to service) on Monday at the funeral home.
