Dolores J. Collins, age 84 of West Carrollton, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 4, 2021 at Kettering Medical Center. She was born on October 30, 1936 in Dayton, Ohio, to the late Henry & Ruby (Humerick) Bond.
Mrs. Collins was a retired employee of Karollton Envelope with 36 years of service, and along with her husband M.C. Collins she was the Owner & Operator of Ric A Ron Lounge in West Carrollton. Mrs. Collins had a passion for her flower beds in her yard; she won the West Carrollton City Beautification award many times over the years. She loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren they were truly the loves of her life.
Preceded in death by her husband M.C. Collins on Jan. 14, 2004, her sister Nadine Kindy, and her sister-in-law Betty Jo Bond.
She is survived by her 2 loving sons Rick Collins and wife Debbie, and Ronnie Collins and wife Stephanie, her brother Charles Bond who was her best friend & road running partner and always shared a special connection, her 4 grandchildren Chase Collins and wife Nina, Kyle Collins, Connor Collins and Cassidy Collins, 3 great grandchildren Maverick James Spirk, Wyatt Rose Collins & Norah Wren Collins, as well as other family members and many friends.
Private Funeral Services will be held at the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton with Pastor Daniel Moore officiating. Burial Evergreen Cemetery. If so desired memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in Mrs. Collins memory.
