Deborah D. “Debbie” Buhrman, age 78 of Dayton, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at Miami Valley Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 16, 1946, in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of the late William & Frances (Malesko) Chamness.

Mrs. Buhrman was a former employee of NCR. Debbie was a member of the Kettering Assembly of God. She enjoyed listening to Elvis and the Beatles, reading her bible, making her famous chicken and dumplings, and spending time with family and friends.

Preceded in death by her husband George A. Buhrman on August 27, 1969, her son Chance Aaron Bruno Bethel on September 11, 1999, her sister Danielle Isaac and by her brother William J. Chamness.

She is survived by her daughter Angela Buhrman, her 2 sons George Buhrman and Travis Bethel, her sister D’Avril Chamness, 9 grandchildren Brittany, Kristen, Nicolas, Sarah, Ryan, Chance, Zowie, Alabama, and Phoenix, 3 great grandchildren Adrian, Hunter and Madison, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A Graveside Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at the Evergreen Cemetery, 401 N. Miami Ave., West Carrollton. Arrangements entrusted to the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton.
