David A. Placke, age 58 of West Carrollton, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 24, 2022, at his home. He was born on March 25, 1964, in Dayton, Ohio, the son of the late Dale & Virginia (Kemper) Placke. David was an employee at the Paragon Supper Club with 35 years of service. Preceded in death by his sister Ginger McGregor.

He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years Rebecca L. (Parshall) Placke, his 2 sons Daniel Placke & Nathan Placke, his granddaughter Zuri Placke, his brother Scott Placke, brother-in-law Larry Smith and wife Donna, his sister-in-law Debbie Martin and husband Dave, “fur babies” Hawkeye & Sandy, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 30, 2022, at the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton with Rev. Dr. Joel Getts officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. (1 hour prior to service) on Saturday at the funeral home.
