Catherine L. Wilson, age 87 of Troy, Ohio, formerly of Dayton, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at Troy Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. She was born on October 7, 1936, in Dayton, Ohio.

Catherine attended the Belmont Church of the Open Bible, and she loved her cats “Pojoe” and “Bobby”.

Preceded in death by her husband Loney C. “L.C.” Wilson on July 14, 2019, her son Lonnie F. Wilson, her mother Mary Jane Day, and by her grandparents who raised her from the age of 7 Elsie & Frank Day.

She is survived by her loving family: her daughter Mary L. Wilson, daughter-in-law Becky Wilson, her sister-in-law Louise Cantrell, 5 grandchildren Betsy (Forrest) Harless, Kathryn (Ross) Byers, Amy (Reggie) Williams, Felix Gonzales, III, and Anthony Gonzales, and by several great grandchildren.

A Private Graveside Service will be held at Evergreen Cemetery, 401 N. Miami Ave., West Carrollton, OH 45449.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Greater Dayton, 1661 Nicholas Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45417 in memory of Mrs. Catherine L. Wilson.
