Betty A. Hoffman, age 96 of Dayton, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 6, 2025, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 18, 1928, in Eldorado, Ohio, the daughter of the late Leonard L. & Marie M. (House) Brasier.
Betty attended Comptometer School. She was a former employee of Elder’s Dept. Store, a Bookkeeper for Miami Maid, and a Bookkeeper for Davids Flowers.
Preceded in death by her husband Robert E. Hoffman on January 15, 2021, her sister June Laisy, her brothers-in-laws Ed Laisy and Gary Hoffman, her sister in-law Phyllis Hoffman, and by her aunt Elinor Medley.
She is survived by her loving son Jeffrey Hoffman, her aunt Vivian House, 2 cousins Debbie and husband Matt & Mandy, her 2 sisters-in-law Alice Thompson and husband Raymond, and Sandy Tackett and husband Chris, as well as other family members and friends.
A Private Graveside Service will be held at David’s Cemetery, 4600 Mad River Rd., Kettering, Ohio 45429, with Rev. Dr. Joel Getts officiating. Arrangements entrusted to the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton in memory of Mrs. Betty A. Hoffman.
