Barbara J. Bond-Brixey, age 79 of West Carrollton, passed away peacefully on December 21, 2022, at Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton. She was born on December 15, 1943, in Little Rock, Arkansas, the daughter of the late William, Sr. & Cloie (Coffman) Newkirk.

Mrs. Bond-Brixey was a former Accountant for John Cameron Supply Co. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Kettering and volunteered for Kettering Health Network – Main Campus in spiritual services.

Preceded in death by her first husband Charles D. Bond, Jr., her second husband Ronald Brixey, brother William Newkirk, Jr., her sister Charlotte Huffman, and by a brother-in-law Thomas Entingh.

She is survived by her sister Betty Entingh, her dear friend Chaplain Linda Farley-Meyer and husband Jerry Meyer, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 29, 2022, at Miami Valley Memory Gardens, Centerville. Arrangements entrusted to the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton.
