Barbara A. Bailey, age 80 of West Carrollton, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at Kettering Health Network – Main Campus, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 5, 1943, in Big Stone Gap, VA, the daughter of the late Thelma M. (Miller) and Dup Bailey.

Barbara was a former employee of NCR and Monarch Marking. She volunteered for Sycamore Hospital for many years and loved all animals, especially her dogs.

She is survived by several cousins: Brenda Tenney and husband Dan, Debbie Kuhn, Eddie Miller, Bobby Miller, Roger Miller, John Miller, Barbara Blankenship, Ida Gaye Fraley, Jackie Jackson, Linda Hoel, as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

 Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, October 21, 2024, at the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton with Pastor Dan Holt officiating.  Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in West Carrollton. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. (1 hour prior to service) on Monday at the funeral home.
