William D., "Bill" George, age 65 of West Carrollton passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2020. He was born on March 13, 1955 in Dayton, Ohio the son of the late William F. & Mary M. "Miriam" George.

Bill was a former Police Officer for the City of Miamisburg, and retired as a Safety Director in Construction for WPAFB.

He is survived by his 2 sisters Cynthia Heckman and husband John, Brenda Harris and husband Harold, his brother Brent George and wife Jennifer, 5 nieces & 2 nephews Lori Heckman, Bret Heckman and wife Stephanie, Amanda George, Lindsay George and fiancé Clark Trost, Jackie Jergens, Sarah Jergens and Josh Jergens, 5 great nieces & 1 nephew Brylee, Evelyn, Elizabeth, Christian, Rana & Mikyla, as well as numerous other family members and many friends.

Private services with Military Honors were held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 19, 2020 at the Evergreen Cemetery, West Carrollton with Pastor John Hughes officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or to the American Diabetes Association in Bill's memory.
