William “Bill” Bond, age 92 of West Carrollton, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 29, 2026, at the Trinity Community of Beavercreek. He was born on April 17, 1934, in Vincent, Kentucky, the son of the late Robert & Carrie (Marcum) Bond.

Mr. Bond honorably served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He was a retired electrician for the Miami Paper Mill with 34 years of service, former employee of American Packaging in Middletown; and a member of the IBEW Local #82, and a Union Steward for West Carrollton. Bill enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Preceded in death by his wife Glenna Fay Bond, his son William Glen Bond, his brother Thomas Bond, and by his sister-in-law Wanda Bond.

He is survived by his loving children Alivia Massey and husband Jerry, Robin Rhoton and husband Ralph, his brother Robert “Bob” Bond, his sister Marilyn Adkins, his sister-in-law Kay Bond, 4 grandchildren Jason Johnson, Andrew Johnson, Sara Stratton and husband Jason, and Glenn Bond, Jr., 6 great grandchildren Jason Stratton and wife Karissa, Lyla Stratton, Sidney Williamson, Kelton Dyer, Paige Ingram and husband James, Gabriel Johnson, 3 great great grandchildren Austin, Sophia, and Asher Ingram, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton with Rev. Dr. Joel Getts officiating. Burial will follow at the Evergreen Cemetery with Military Honors conducted by the Combined Honor Guard. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (1 hour prior to service) on Wednesday at the funeral home.
