Norman, Wenold J., age 87 of Dayton, passed away Thursday, May 15, 2014 at the Hospice of Dayton. He was born November 15, 1926 in Armathwaite, TN, the son of the late Otto & Bonnie (Dishman) Norman. Wenold was retired from Dayton Walther with 30 years of service, a member of the Miami Shores Baptist Church, and honorably served his country in the U.S. Army. Preceded in death by his sister Wilma Smith, and daughter-in-law Connie (Simonton) Norman. Survived by his wife of 66 years Beatrice G. (Smith) Norman, 2 sons Danny Norman of Miamisburg, Larry Norman & wife Connie of West Carrollton, his daughter  Kay Smith & husband Jim of GA, 4 grandchildren Amy Hall (Mark), Julie Norman, Andrew Norman (Ashley), Michael Norman (Allison), 3 great grandchildren Avery, Makaylin, Samuel, his special friend Dave, and a host of other family members and friends. Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 19, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. from the SWART & WOLFE FUNERAL HOME, West Carrollton with Pastor Doug Surber officiating. Burial Evergreen Cemetery.
