Brodbeck, Vincent A. "Vince", age 77 of West Carrollton, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at the Walnut Creek Nursing Center surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on November 28, 1940 in Dayton, OH, the son of the late Bernard & Ruth (Shook) Brodbeck.

Mr. Brodbeck was a retired Police Officer for the City of West Carrollton with 27 years of service. He was a member of the former First Presbyterian Church, West Carrollton FOP # 117, West Carrollton Masonic Lodge #737 F & A.M., West Carrollton Historical Society and he attended the South Dayton Baptist Church.

Preceded in death by his wife Dottie J. Brodbeck in 2008, and his sister Grace Bolton.

He is survived by 2 sons Brian D. Brodbeck (Traci Kohlreiser), Brent D. Brodbeck and wife Diane, 2 granddaughters Allison Brodbeck & Andrea Brodbeck, special friend Brenda Heiser, as well as 2 nieces, a nephew, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton with Pastor Steve Thornhill officiating. Burial will follow at the Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home on Monday with  Fraternal Order of Police services at 7:30 p.m. and Masonic Services immediately following at 7:45 p.m. If so desired memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Vince's memory. www.swartfuneralhome.com.
