Tommy Lee Sweeney, age 58 of West Carrollton, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 12, 2026, at Kettering Health Network – Dayton.

He was born June 22, 1968, in Dayton, Ohio. Tommy was a former employee of General Motors. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, watching NASCAR and riding his motorcycle.

Preceded in death by his father Homer Sweeney on July 4, 2012, his aunts Precilla “Patty” Shumaker, Judy Sweeney & Geraldine Leet, his uncle Tommy Sweeney.

He is survived by his loving mother Carolyn (Shumaker) Sweeney, his brother Charles “Chuck” Sweeney and wife Heather, his sister Deana Jordon and husband Kevin, his nephews Justin Jordon, Chuckie Sweeney (Kenzie), his niece Kaitlyn Jordon, great niece Zayda Sage, great nephews Rylan Jordon, Bryce Sweeney, numerous cousins including Cheryl Roberts and Doug Roberts and wife Lori, as well as other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton with Rev. Dr. Joel Getts officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. (2 hours prior to service) on Tuesday at the funeral home.
