Russell, Theodore H. " Tight Wad Ted", age 84 of Miamisburg, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at Kettering Medical Center.

He was born on June 24, 1936 in Glouster, OH, the son of the late Henry & Helen (Parks) Russell. Ted was a Toy Maker for Kits Toy Factory and then retiring from Pax Boxing Co., with over 30 years combined service.

Preceded in death by 2 brothers Bob & Harry Russell, 2 sisters Joanne Blanton and Ruth Bocook, and by his best friend Danny Branch.

He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years Evelyn J. (Ogan) Russell, his son Darin Russell and wife Lee Ann, his 2 daughters Marilyn "Mitzi" Garrett and husband Ronald, and Leslie Simonton and husband Craig, 2 brothers Larry Russell & Lee Russell, 5 grandchildren Shannon Carroll, Jennifer (Noah) Lemons, Ashley Garrett, Matt (Nicole) Bush and Cory Garrett, 11 great grandchildren Anthony Grant, Christian Grant, Riley Lemons, Luke Lemons, Emma Lemons, Skylar Young, Aiyden Garrett, Kaylee Garrett, Braelynn Bush, Ava Bellnoski & Caleb Bush, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton with Dr. Dan Flory officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. ( 2 hours prior to service) on Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Ted's memory.
