McKenzie, Sylvia M., age 76 of Miamisburg, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 13, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 5, 1944 in Frenchburg, KY, the daughter of the late Ray & Berthie (Collinsworth) Walton.

Mrs. McKenzie attended the Miamisburg Assembly of God. Preceded in death by her husband Johnnie C. McKenzie in 1992, her infant son Gregory Allen McKenzie, her brother Archie Walton, and by her sister Mildred Staton.

She is survived by her son John Richard "Ricky" McKenzie, daughter Tanya McKenzie (Tony Wright), 2 brothers Bobby Walton & Denzil Walton, 2 sisters Roberta (Randy) Madan, and Joyce (Danny) Whitt, 6 grandchildren Cody Wright, Jessica Hulsmeyer, Austin Wright, John Richard McKenzie, Jr., Isaac McKenzie and Logan McKenzie, 3 great grandchildren Aumarie Wright, Julius McCartney & Aspyn Wright, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 17, 2021 at the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton with Chaplain Zach Maloney officiating. Burial Evergeen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. If so desired memorial contributions may be made to Crossroads Hospice in memory of Mrs. Sylvia McKenzie.
