Riffle, Stanley L., age 89 of West Carrollton, passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2012. He was born August 13, 1922 in Union City, Indiana, the son of the late Cletis & Florence Bell (Davis) Riffle. Mr. Riffle was a member of the Centerville Grace Brethren Church, a volunteer for many years with the City of West Carrollton and honorably served his country during WWII. Preceded in death by his wife Joyce A. in 2001, and a brother Wendell Riffle. Survivors include his son Cliff Riffle and wife Andra of Rapid City, SD, his daughter Cyndy A. Noran and husband Jerry of Ft. Thomas, KY, his brother Stuart Riffle and wife Maebelle of Paducah, KY, his sister Barbara Bowman of West Carrollton, 4 grandchildren Joshua Basone, Rachel Dickman, Jennifer Riffle, Christopher Riffle, 5 great grandchildren Taylor & Mason Basone, Ava, Lily, and Grant Dickman. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 7, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. from the Centerville Grace Brethren Church, 410 E. Social Row Rd., Centerville, OH 45458, with Pastor Dave Holmes officiating. Burial Miami Valley Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church. If desired memorial contributions may be made to the church in his memory. Arrangements have been entrusted to the SWART & WOLFE FUNERAL HOME, West Carrollton.
