Senior Master Sergeant Gerald Burton "Jerry" Schroeppel, age 81 of Brooksville, FL, passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2003, at the Oak Hill Hospital in Brooksville, FL, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on January 6, 1922, in Ft. Dodge, Iowa, the son of the late Cliford L. & Faye Leola (Clabaugh) Schroeppel.
Mr. Schroeppel honorably served his country in the U.S. Air Force with 32 years of service. He retired as a Senior Master Sergeant and was also an Offensive Future Combat Service Supervisor during his tenure.
He is survived by 5 children, daughters - Teresa Marie Schroeppel (WA), Lisa Kay (Schroeppel) Clements and husband Robert James "Bob" Clements (WA), step-sons - Richard Schroeppel (Dayton OH), Mark Schroeppel and wife Jenna (Florida), step-daughter - Vanessa Lay and husband Don (Miamisburg OH) and as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Hillgrove Cemetery, 1002 E. Central Ave., Miamisburg, Ohio 45342, will Military Honors conducted by the Combined Honor Guard. Arrangements entrusted to the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton.
