Tompkins, Scott, age 49 of Middletown, passed away Sunday, May 5, 2013. He was born August 28,, 1963 in Dayton. Scott was preceded in death by his mother Jewel Tompkins, and his brother Varon L. Tompkins. Survivors include his father Varon V. Tompkins and wife Betty of Miamisburg, his step-brother Mike Mathews of Miamisburg, a step-sister Melanie Welch and husband Ron of Miamisburg, close friend Debbie Egner of Middletown, as well as other family members and friends. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 10, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. from the SWART & WOLFE FUNERAL HOME, West Carrollton with Pastor Jim Rhodes officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday starting at 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
