Bancroft, Scott E., age 40 of Dayton, passed away on Sunday, April 02, 2017 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born on August 6, 1976 in Kettering, Ohio. Preceded in death by his father James C. Bancroft on June 10, 2014. Scott is survived by his loving mother Betty J. (Bolio) Bancroft of Dayton, a brother Michael J. Bancroft of West Carrollton, 2 sisters Laura A. Miller and husband John of West Carrollton, Amy E. Bancroft of West Carrollton,  2 nephews Kevin & Matthew Longstreath, as well as other family members and many friends. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 3:30 p.m. at the SWART & WOLFE FUNERAL HOME, West Carrollton with Pastor Sandra Hilty and Dick Fultz officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.
