Pierson, Ruth, age 86 of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, August 5, 2014. She was born June 5, 1928 in Rock Castle Co., KY, the daughter of the late Henry & Lonie (McGuire) Davidson. She was a member of the First Pentecostal Church of Murlin Heights. Preceded in death by her husband Hubert Pierson in 1994, a son Keith Pierson, a daughter Kathy Pierson, 8 brothers Sam, Ben, Marshall, Logan, Garrett, Bobby, Orbin, Marvin, 4 sisters Delphi, Betty, Gertrude, and Myrtle. Survivors include her 2 sons Terry Pierson and wife Joanne, Jeff Pierson, her 2 daughters Darlene Saylor and husband Elwood, Lori Wood and husband Terry, 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and a host of other family members and friends. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 8, 2014 at 12 Noon at the First Pentecostal Church of Murlin Heights, 8921 N. Dixie Dr., Dayton, Ohio 45414 with Pastor Brian Pierson and Pastor Kevin Lloyd officiating. Burial Trissel Cemetery.
