Obituary

Russell "Russ" Brian Lacy, age 60, formerly of Union City, Ohio passed away on Friday, November 13, 2020 in Bremerton, Washington. He was born on April 13, 1960 in Dayton, Ohio


Russ was a 1978 graduate of Mississiniwa Valley High School. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy serving for 20 years; retiring as a Petty Officer First Class with service as a Submariner, in the Mediterranean, Atlantic and Pacific.


He is survived by his parents, The Rev. Dr. Russell Gwinn Lacy and Mildred (Miki) Lacy of Greenville, his daughter Victoria Lacy, granddaughter, his sister, Patricia Blosser, nephew, Patrick A. Harsh, his wife Jo, grandniece LindaAnn Harsh and grandnephew Patrick Tyler Harsh of Beamsville, and grandniece Rebecca Harsh and great-grandnephews Dalton TP Harsh and Oliver A. Limbert of Greenville, a nephew, Matthew Harsh, his wife Jenna and grandniece Haley Harsh of Troy.


A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at the Evergreen Cemetery with Full Military Honors. Rev. Barbara Wiechel officiating.


In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Fleet & Family Support Program (FFSP) Headquartes, Commander, Navy Installations Comman (CNIC), 716 Sicard Street, SE, Suite 1000, Washington Navy Yard, DC 20374-5140 in Russ's memory.
