Ronald K. Thomas, age 86 of West Carrollton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at Ohio's Hospice of Dayton, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on September 15, 1937, in Dayton, Ohio, the son of the late Joseph Thomas & Virginia (Pontis) Mombeck.

Mr. Thomas was a former Machinist for NCR, then became a Machinist for Kettering Health Network with over 30 years of service. He was the owner & operator of T & T VW Service for 26 years and he loved VW's and repairing them as well; he also enjoyed going to auctions, and learning everything he could about the history of Dayton. Ronald was also an active member of Fairhaven Church.

Preceded in death by his son Richard Kent Thomas on March 10, 2007, by his daughter-in-law Bonnie Thomas, his sister Barbara Mombeck, his 2 brothers John & Bob Thomas, and by his sister-law Mariam Thomas.

He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years Alice B. (Griffiths) Thomas, his son Robert "Bob" Thomas, his daughter Rhonda Thomas, his brother Ted Thomas, his sister Marilyn Mombeck, as well as numerous other family members and many friends.

At the request of Mr. Thomas private services will be held.
